I have been a health practitioner since 1993 beginning with a massage practice, and then moving on to acupressure, and finally completing my Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Before I began my healing arts journey and medical training, I worked as a bilingual Spanish speaking counselor in a homeless shelter for five years.  Prior to that I worked as a counselor in a group home for at risk teenage girls.  Years of counseling both teens and adults as well as doing my own personal growth work have contributed to the whole self healing component of my practice.  I am the mother to three children ages 44, 32, and 19 and now two beautiful grandchildren ages 6 and 3. I am acutely aware of the challenges presented in raising children in a time where technology, drugs, and now COVID have hijacked so many aspects of our children’s lives. I have years of parenting experience and with street children, foster youth, and teens who suffer anxiety and stress. I am here to support both parents and youth with herbs, massage, acupuncture and coaching.

As a Traditional Chinese Medical physician, I use both acupuncture and herbs with my patients.  Nutritional counseling, massage, and Qi Gong exercises may be a part of your medical prescription. I encourage you to look deeper into the psychology of any given illness.  Together we may explore the ways in which fear of illness and pain prolong these conditions and with massage, and inquiry we may discover the ways your body is holding on to a disease state.

For  patients suffering with anxiety, depression, and fear I will help you listen to the stories and beliefs that may be holding you hostage and causing stress and illness.

In my thirty years of experience, i have worked with many kinds of disease and disharmony.  Some of those are as follows:

  • Physical injury, and pain of all kinds

  • Anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and insomnia

  • Women's hormonal issues including PMS, peri-menopause, and menopause

  • Teenagers at risk, overly stressed, and fatigued from increased academic and social pressures.

  • Skin disorders: rosacea, eczema, psoraisis, and acne

  • Cancer patients

Acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage, and personal growth work together create your Whole-Self Healing.  Contact me: 415-595-2739
